Gloria Series Synopsis
In the fall of 1982 Sally Struthers returned to TV as Gloria Bunker Stivic with her own weekly series "Gloria". Gloria had taken a Job with a
crusty old veterinarian Willard Adams from the Upstate Duchess county town
of Foxridge after Mike had left her to live on a commune and she and Joey
felt out of place living with Archie again. At the clinic Gloria also
worked with Dr Adams partner Dr Maggie Laurence and his inept assistant
Clark. Joey took a liking to a Black Dog who seemed to prefer other male
dogs. Joey adopted him and named him Archie after his Bigoted Grandpa. Joey was
too young realize the irony. This series ran for only one season.
